Service Desk Agent

As a Service Desk Agent you are a part of building our brand by being in daily contact with our Finnish speaking end-users. You always put the customer first and use your social and technical skills to help them solve the problems they face.

Job description

You receive incident and service requests through phone calls, emails and our portal. Your goal is to solve as many of these tickets as possible. You are the ticket owner for the tickets you receive and responsible for following up with them and making sure solutions are delivered. When necessary, you will escalate the ticket to 2nd and 3rd line of support.

Technical troubleshooting and/or user guidance can be divided into three areas: Operation management, Application management and Administration. We will find you a suitable role that matches your level of technical knowledge and career goals. You will receive extensive training for your position before you start.

Your skills

You speak and write fluently in both Finnish and English. You will mainly serve customers in Finnish.

Technical skills

You will perform well in the position when you are familiar with the following systems and troubleshooting within them:

  • Windows XP/7
  • Microsoft Outlook/Exchange
  • Microsoft Office

Previous work experience in customer support functions and working with advanced contact management solutions, as well as technical knowledge of one or more of the following is to your advantage: Virus handling, mobile messaging, SMS/SCCM (program distribution), Citrix, MAC OS, Portwise and/or RACF (IBM Mainframe).

Social skills

You will enjoy this position if you are service-minded, solution-oriented and social. Towards the customers and your colleagues you are a good listener, open-minded and ready to share your knowledge and experience. You are good at handling stressful situations and have a positive attitude.
